The Poll is missing two important categories.
Floor standers plus sub-woofer.
Satellite/bookshelf plus sub-woofer.

Or is such combination such heresy we can't mention them?

The choices are just the ones that came to mind when I started the poll. For obvious reasons the software doesn't allow you to add options after votes have been cast - or rather it does allow you to add options but it deletes all the votes when you do so

FWIW if you check the first post you'll see that I use an REL sub with my Crusaders, so if it is heresy I'm guilty of it myself

Guilty too. I run Usher BE 10's with 2 Velodyne DD15 +'s. Works for me.I also get a lot of joy in bed with the lights out with a pair of Sennhiesers.

A pair of Mordaunt Short MS-Classic 40 floorstanders and a pair of JPW Sonatas been "very Happy" apart from, I'm think I could do with more power to drive the MS's than my NVA 20 can muster.

1 pair of Cabasse 310 ("Sampan léger") here, and 2 pairs of Rogers Export Monitor - all these can be considered "large stand-mount" models I guess, although I don't know above which size a speaker is "large". Plus 1 pair of Tannoy active monitors that can count as a bookshelf type I guess, although it is more intended to be a "console top".

Oh yeah, and I also use a lot two pairs of headphones, but these are not necessarily my primary mode of listening, unless for monitoring.

Ruark Talismans - driven by an Exposure XII/XI/XIII super combo.
I've had this setup for at least twenty years and it still sounds fantastic to me.
Cheers

My main rig features Tyler Acoustic Linbrook Signature Series floorstanders augmented with 2 [stereo] custom built Tyler Acoustic subs. All of the drivers are Seas with the tweeters being the Seas Millineum.

[quote="JaS"]As most of us have probably spent a lot of time listening to different loudspeakers I thought it might be interesting to hear what everybody is using in their systems :)

Mpffffff (meant as a thoughtful grunt, not a snide snort):

In rough rank order of weekly use:

Maggie MG-III
Revox Piccolo
AR3a
AR Athena
AR4x
AR M5

Figure that is vaguely divided as a 4:4:4:2:2:1 hours per week.

Driven by:
Citation 16 (A/B)
AR Receiver
Revox A422 (A/B)
AR amplifier

There is a Scott LK150, a Dynaco ST70 and a ST35 rotating in the amp line-up as I feel the urge.
