Postby CATHAIR 76 » 27 Apr 2012 22:42

hello,
i have a pioneer tt, model pl-560 direct drive. i just recently purchased it at a flea market. it is complete w/dust cover. i have connected it and everything on it works good.
my ? is, where can i get a set of rubber feet for it? the ones on it look like they ran a race and melted all the way to the screw tops. lol. i have seen some on ebay but i do not want to send anybody's kids to college. lol. i'm not a miser but why so pricey?
any info will be appreciated. thanks, cathair76

Hi,
pricey I guess as it's a rather captive market, 'you want these...we have them' type thing, and few if any other retailers do.
I have a 512 deck again feet had perished/sagged so no longer gave any support. I'm going to use some thick dowel (a rolling pin, nice Beech wood!) and add some 'rubber' to the base of these. The original feet were not overly compliant so probably offered limited isolation. Mount the deck on a decent stand and all should be ok.
Other options are spikes, or 'sorbothane' isolation pods, or tennis/squash balls cut in half, hey you wanted cheap! :) lol
