Yo nesster97:

We would like to be able to help out, but we need you to tell us what kind of turntable you bought and what kind of system you are trying to plug into. It may be that you have bought a USB turntable and you are trying to plug it into an all-in one or an AV receiver. More information will help. Tell us brand and model number of turntable, and brand and model number of the unit you are trying to plug it into. It is entirely possible that you have bought a turntable that will not work with the equipment you have, or it may be possible to adapt it and make it work, but we can't tell without more information.

And good luck from the old guy who cannot give an answer without asking a few questions first,

Joe Z.

kk I'll bite. Does the turntable have rca (red/white)connectors? Does the receiver have rca (red/white) inputs on the back labelled phono? If so you're good to go unless something else is wrong with either device. k?

You can't. It doesn't have a phono input

You need a stand alone phono preamp. There are plenty available for prices ranging from cheap to "are you serious". Do a google search for phono preamp.

Connect TT to phono preamp.
Connect phono preamp to any unused input on receiver.
Play and listen to vinyl.

If you have RCA plugs on the turntable, and RCA inputs on the receiver, you can usr a separate phono pre-amp between them, and it should work.

Cheers,
