No no no no no!!! This is completely unacceptable!!! You will give your records to me and have some quality trigger time instead of listening to records... =P~

Sorry, but since they're already paid for I'll keep 'em. ;) ;)

You're absolutely right, tho, Mr. M-9 is definitely getting lonely in the closet. Home in 2 weeks and trigger time is definitely on the list, record purchases will be limited this time around.
Are we there yet? No, never there yet. Keep it rollin', we're paid by the mile.

Drink, Drink, Drink and Golden Days from "The Student Prince" sung by Mario Lanza on a 78rpm record, 1956 or 1957. This was the first of many Lanza records which aroused my interest in singing. This led to my joining the local opertatic society and later singing with the New Zealand Opera Company (a professional company)in the 1960s.

As a budding guitarist my choice was Handmade by Mason Williams, 1974 (I've still got it, in excellent condition).

My first record was a bunch of French sailor songs my parents got for me one Christmas. Not sure why. I still have it. The first one I ever bought was The Beatles Second Album.

One Christmas when I was young it was Meet The Beatles, and The Beatles Second Album. (Surpisingly I still have both albums, and they are still playable.)

The first 45 I bought was Kodachrome by Paul Simon. (Back when department stores had nice music sections, and a candy counter.)
Time to play B-sides

In the early 1970s, the first albums I bought with my own money were
King Crimson - In the Court of the Crimson King
and
Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon.

They were very good first choices.

First album I remember inheriting from my dad was The Beatles - Yesterday and Today (without the infamous "butcher cover"). Still have it to this day!

First album I remember buying with my own money was The Rolling Stones - Tattoo You. Once again, still have it to this day!

The first record I bought was Who's Next. My cousin bought Tattoo You at the same time. It was around 1981.
