Hi Folks
I am actually thinking of putting my Rock 3 etc up for sale on ebay because
I am mostly sacd/hirez /downloads nowadays and getting too old to be bothered
with hifi.(Sad)
Nowadays I am totally out of touch with values but have had bad dealings with Ebay on another issue(s).(Their charges and dealing with simple problems etc)
Can any one advise what price I should be asking for this once well used and slightly modded package.ie platter is shaved flat.inner tube reglued using double sided tape.It also had a complete respray some years ago when serviced and checked over..
I know the silicone fluid should be replaced.
I still have the original packaging .

What side of the water are you on?
In the UK just the deck with lid no arm, normally goes for around $600/800 if in good condition, as for the arm I haven't seen one for sale for a very long time..

Pictures would be good, then I am sure that some one will give you a rough price..

Here in Florida, USA. Townshend is not well known here, and my turntable had the modified Rega arm that came as a package with the Rock 3. Your Manticore is likely worth more.

Its located on top of the Townshend seismic sink stand ?
The piccie does not show the lid very well.

The person who serviced it said I should call it Customized version?

I am not really that keen on selling it abroad.
Initially I was looking at 330 GBP plus as The value of the Manticore was
unknown.It seems that this arm may also be valuable and Ive been asked to sell it seperate?
At first I was only considering selling due to a phone call by an interested person (for years) but now I think Its a certainty I will sell .I just Need to get organized and probably get it checked fully.One problem is timing, holidays hospitals etc etc.
