Hi

You'd have to spend a fair bit more to better the sound of the DL-110, although there are those who prefer the DL-160 at around the same price (It's blue while the DL-110 is red)
I have 2 - both on Rega Decks - I've tried the AT-120e and the AT-440MLA but the Denon sounds much better to me.
It's a high output moving coil so you'll probably find you need to turn the volume up a bit more than you would with a moving magnet cartridge but other than that there are no other commments of a negative nature.
I think the price in America is a bit better than over here too
cheers

The DL-110 is very good on a Rega.

Hi 67R,
If I can just add my 2penneth!
I recently bought a SAE1000Lt from Canada - lots of talk on these NEW Old stock carts around the blogs - They are brilliant, the best I have heard at this level & only $200, which is a steal.
Try & listen to a few, as different carts will sound better or worse on differing systems, so our 'expert' :^o
views won't always be right for you
Good luck,
GC

The DL160 is no longer in production, which is a pity as it works very well in a Rega arm.
You may also want to include Ortofon's 2M series on your list as many people also like them.

Hi brassnwood

I am off to Calgary, Canada in the Summer.

Do you think it's worth looking out for a SAE1000Lt whilst I am there?

Many Thanks
Dave

Note that the SAE is not in production. and your chances of finding it anywhere else are slim.
