New member question re: troubleshooting

I have been using my Technics LS BD22 turntable with an Audio Technica AT92E cartridge to input vinyls into PC for recording. All of a sudden I am not getting stereo separation i.e. Identical signal on both channels when playing stereo. The turntable has been around a while. Am I needing a new stylus, cartridge? Any ideas? retrobob
