Anything special about the internal wiring of a tonearm? By that I mean can one buy a ready made wiring set sold on line to replace the original or are they very specific in application?

There are many different options available, from very cheap to outlandishly expensive. If you're going through the trouble already, might as well at least go for some quality OFC litz like Cardas, Isokinetik, or such. You can get Cardas tonearm wire for something like $5/ft. if I recall correctly.

Hi

I have rewired tonearms and all you really need is the super thin wire.

What is already suggested sounds ok.

So, rewriting a tone arm with a pre-made kit (ex. Incognito, etc.) is easy then, do I understand that correctly?
