No sound

Just hooked up my Systemdek IIX for the 1st time since 2006. I'm not getting any sound. What have I done wrong? Bit of an "electro goof" so keep the responses simple.

Errrrrrr. Check your connections. Check everything is definitely on. Is the amp working? No sound at all or very faint?
