RB250 Incognito rewire on P2

Postby jkrider » 26 Mar 2012 01:06

Hi,

I did a rewire of my RB250 tonearm on my P2 using the Incognito rewire kit. All seems well with the rewire, but I do have one issue on which I would appreciate help. After I re-installed the RB250 onto the P2 I noticed that the feet are no longer high enough because the thicker external wire doesn't bend as tight as the old thinner wire. I put a 3/4" thick block of some old pine I had lying around under each foot and now the table sits fine. I could probably get away with 1/2" if I had to. So I would like to get feedback as to whether the pine blocks will degrade the sound or is there something more suitable I could buy. The sound right now is pretty good, but I would like any feedback I can get.

Thanks,

James

I would order the aluminium feet from Michael Lim, You'll have to see if your feet are compatible. His feet will raise the table abour 1/2 inch.

gabriel1998 - Thank you for your suggestion! I ordered the aluminum feet from Michael Lim and they proved to be just what I needed.
