The Mission (UK) - Children side 1.

It goes downhill on side 2.

The Abbey Road Side Two comments are totally spot on.

I would be remiss in not mentioning that my wife's side 2 is stunning.

Also:
Jackson Browne The Pretender Side 2
Oliver Nelson Blues and the Abstract Truth Side 1
Ravel Concerto in G Munch/Nicole Henriot-Schweitzer (fairly obscure title...sorry!)

Great call and while you're at it, why not throw in side two of 'Live at Leeds'.
Immense!

For me it's Side 2 of Quadrophenia (though Side 3 is great, too.)

In compiling my 10 must haves, auditioned some Rolling Stones.
