Here are a bunch of interesting ones that I've spent much time staring at during my life. Surprised The White Album hasn't been posted yet so I'm posting it.
Anyone going to post some Smiths covers? * glances over at SF * ;)

You, sir, have good taste! 8)
(It seems we listen to the same type of music, yay!)
I too remember staring a lot at that "Closer" album! "Love will Tear us Apart" is also pretty cool.

I find The Smiths album covers quite strange, LOL... but I love the band! I think the only album cover I like is "The Queen is Dead".

Alice cooper-from the inside.
this is a favourite of mine, i took a punt on it because of the awesome cover, it has a middle opening gatefold that reveals the inside of a mental asylum, including a little door: "the quiet room" which when you open it, there's alice curled up on the floor, when you flip the back over, the track listing is on double doors that open to reveal more stuff, all this stuff hidden behind opening doors is on the inner sleeve.
it's amazing, like some macabre advent calender.

as a child i used to sit and listen to jeff waynes war of the worlds, and i was fascinated by the album artwork and would sit and gaze at it as i listened to the album, (it was my elder brothers and i have it now, although the booklet is missing as he stuck it to his bedroom ceiling years ago)

This combines the sound of hot rods and dragsters with some drum work. But the pictures of the rods are priceless. 21110

Those are the characters from the songs on the record.

AC has had several great album covers/extras including the paper panties from School's out. I have an original Billion Dollar Babies with the $1,000,000,000 bill as well as an original cardboard boxed Muscle of Love with the "Institute of Nude Wrestling" insert.
