Sumiko MDC 800 arm rewire

Postby avs9 » 30 Mar 2012 18:36

Hi,
Need to wire the Sumiko MDC800. I sent the arm to BritAudio to rewire, the guy said they can do it. One month later got the arm back non-wired, the firewell note says 'opening too thin for wires to pass through'.
Anybody knows a good source of VERY THIN copper wires? Regular Cardas won't work I guess, need to be really thin.
Thank you
Anatoliy

Might be worth your time speaking to Johnnie at Audio Origami.

I know Cardas do a finer guage tonearm wire than standard, used some on my Mission 774. Bought mine from UK Ebay seller jclovesmusic
