This place is great if you are in Ottawa. The dollar bins go for $.50 if you buy 25, and the the regular stock is extremely well graded and priced right. (Be prepared to spend several hours scouring through the cheap bins.)

I always found much of Legends stock overpriced, its also difficult to find anything with the way the albums are kept on the shelves.

New vinyl is normally quite expensive and can be found downtown much cheaper.

Really good selection here at great prices! Vinyls aren't always in the best of condition though... Too bad this place don't sell used turntables, receivers, etc.

Someone mentioned this one before but without the info.
It's a great place for any kind of LP (used and new ones are in the same bins, so look for the labels in the upper right corner).

Here are the go to places here in Edmonton Alberta Canada:

Listen Records
10443a – 124 Street
Edmonton, AB
T5N 1R7
P: 780-732-1132

I love this shop. They sell gear and accessories, and the owner of the place is a really nice guy. They allow you to do mail orders and will allow you to even make piles of records so you don't miss out! I recommend this place above anywhere else in Edmonton.

The next place:

Freecloud Records
10764 101 Street
Edmonton AB. T5H 2S3
Canada
P: 780-429-1476

This is a nice store as well. Lots more foot traffic, but they have a great selection of LP's and their dollar bins are full of some great finds that are in VG+ condition! They also sell new vinyl and even have some rarities, but are priced accordingly. The people that work here are knowledgeable and are passionate about the music.

Doesn't appear they sell much gear but have plenty of music to choose from.

Blackbyrd Myoozik
10442-82 Ave
Edmonton, AB, T6E 2A2
P: 780-439-1273

Haven't been here in person but they have a huge selection. As well they are known as one of the best places to get more "mainstream" and new vinyl. Definitely a place worth checking out!

Here's the fourth and final place to go to here in E-town:

Permanent Records
8126 Gateway Blvd NW
Edmonton AB T6E 1X2
P: 780-988-2112

Highly recommended for their new vinyl. Plenty to choose from and also a great shop to check out. It's close to Blackbyrd so you could pretty much make two stops in one!

This is my favorite record store in the world. The guy who owns it is a real music lover (especially Beatles :) and I have been buying from him for over 30 years.

Record Den

A great selection of classic rock, local favorites, hard-to-find oldies and a little bit of everything else.

I used our search and got no hits for it but I go to Bullmoose Music here in Maine in the USA. They are a small New England outlet with few locations but they do sell online.

I got my 180g Rhino vinyls from them in their store not far from my house.

http://www.bullmoose.com

I think they sell on Amazon also. They do not sell used, only new sealed records.

I'm about to go away, so, I need to know where the record shops are.

I know there is one in Amsterdam, can't remember the name, so, anyone know the good shops in Amsterdam?

Then I go to Ireland: any record shops in Dublin or Galway, or even Kilkenny??

Any help appreciated.
