Is there anyone who recycles old vinyl records to create new vinyl records. Just curious

There was a discussion about this few months back... bottom-line was: recycled vinyl makes for bad records!

As far as I know recycled LPs into vinyl are called "regrind" as opposed to vinyl that has not been anything before and is "virgin vinyl".

When regrind results in impurities in the mix, like bits of paper label, it is a bad thing.
