Nice selection. repress of For Your Pleasure or orig?

Boxer? Never heard it but I hope it has the same 70's 'literal' album cover design concept as it had back then.

Original for your pleasure and both boxer and country life album covers uncensored.Below the belt is a funky, bluesy raw edge garage rock sound.I remember seeing the cover girl years ago in the british news of the world news papers my dad would buy.Love it to death and barleycorn are not original releases born to run is a bit crackly but I love the album so much I had to have it again as mine was done several years ago.

Mick Taylor self titled. Be interesting to see what this is like. The Taylor years were the best of The Stones so hopefully this is good.
U2: The Unforgettable Fire. I have owned this since new, my copy has a damaged cover so I saw a Japanese pressing in excellent condition so I picked it up.

Neil Young - After the Goldrush K44088 (1972 reissue of the 1970 album)

Bought today for £5.49 near mint from Oxfam Music. Playing it now. One of all time favourite albums but to hear it on vinyl again is so good - you would think NY was sitting in the room strumming. Amazing!

Regards

Well, I got the opportunity to visit Acousitic Sounds, kinda tour the new offices in which they also hve a nice selection of pre-owned albums (yep, you can see the trouble coming). After receiving a nice tour of the place I proceeded to browse their collection of pre-owned vinyl and box sets. Finally quit with this:

Bach: Concertos Trevor Pinock, the English Concert (box set 10 LPs)
Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band?Live? 1075 - 85 (box set 5 LPs)
Santana/ Zebop
The Who / Hooligans 2 LP set
Elton John / Goodbye Yellow Brick Road Dbl album
Little Feat / Ain't Had Enough Fun Yet dbl album

Ought to keep me entertained and glued to the stereo for a bit :D :D :D

I was offered a tour of their warehouse AND pressing plant :D
Wonder what kind of excuse I can give the missus to go back

Also a white-label collection of Queens of the Stone Age remixes and covers. I have yet to find any info for it online.

Traded in a bunch of cds to my local record shop and decided to splurge a bit on some great vinyl. I had to laugh at the irony of it all. 20 years ago it would have been the other way around!
I know it's only rock & roll, but I like it.

re: Satyricon - Rebel Extravaganza

I can't vouch for their music, having only heard a few of their songs, but I know one thing: Frost (the guy on the left) scares the HELL out of me. His bit in the documentary Until the Light Takes Us is jaw-dropping. A lot of the black metal comes off as pretty over the top and a little silly, but I wouldn't want to mess with that guy.
