Both off ebay - RTL is in better condition - forgot how good MOP was so may have to get it on 180g release.

Yipeeayee!

received today a NEW OLD STOCK Readers Digest box titled: "Music of the World's Great Composers".

Twelve LPs in NOS condition with pristeen box and booklet. Among others, it contains:
Grieg "Peer Gynt"
Stravinsky: Rite of Spring
Liszt: Mephisto Waltz
R. Strauss: Till Eulenspiegel
and many others!

Recorded mostly in RCA Special Products Division in England...of Kenneth Wilkinson engineering fame, and Charles Gerhardt producing fame.

True classics in the "Living Stereo" legend.

Oooh, boy!

Welcome to the new addiction. I can't wait to hear your stories of browsing used record stores. Watch as your collection comes to life!

Flaming Lips: Yoshimi
Cake: Showroom of Compassion
Ween: White Pepper

Another major thing I love about vinyl is being able to listen to the whole sides of albums without breaks or stopping. This is something I rarely do with iTunes or my iPod.

Pink Floyd - Piper at the Gates of Dawn
Wings - Band on the Run
Wings - At the Speed of Sound
Paul McCartney - Ram
Paul McCartney - Give My Regards to Broad Street
De La Soul - 3 Feet High and Rising

Welcome to VE! And...might I say, you have a few really nice buys there. Ram and Band on the Run are totally excellent IMHO. Piper is another good one for PF fans. Good find. Hope it was also a great price for the lot.

Bought Jimi Hendrix - Concerts (great live compilation) yesterday.
Also, finally Morphine - Cure for pain arrived today. Beautiful!!! Two down (including Yes, that I already got), three to go (or, in this case, to be reissued, if the gods of vinyl willing).

While I don't have any Morphine on vinyl, I have been fortunate enough to come across both Treat Her Right albums. Really good stuff.
I know it's only rock & roll, but I like it.
