Finally ordered Jico 881 and 681 stylus

Took the plung today and ordered 881 shibata and a d680eee-s from jico Finally I can hear what all the fuss is about. I was going to buy the pickering version as someone sugested to me, but in the end I changed my mind as the Pickering version looks a bit heavier and as the compliance is not exactly a perfect match I thought better not to make things worse . Anyone here heard either of these two stylus?

Maybe, if the d680eee-s is a Shibata.
I put the JICO Shibata for Stanton 680 in a Pickering and it was a good thing.
Have kept it as a standby MM now I'm running a MC.

Yes the d680eee-s is a shibata tip. I expect the 881 to be the far better cart, especially with the Jico shibata tip too, but I am curious how my 681eee can possibly sound.

Grumble grumble.. Just checked the tracking on my package, well it is in Aus, but why oh why does it arrive in Sidney when there are many flights direct to Cairns and Sidney is thousands of KM away. Now it will trundle all those KM by truck to Cairns, then as all my post seems to wait in a pile in Cairns for a few days, then by maybe mule up to Ravenshoe . Still be great when it gets here .

He he he heeee ! Tracking packages here show a similar pattern. The package is reported as received at "Cataño station", and then it will take its own time to arrive at my station!

Oh hum still no sign of my two stylus. According to tracking they were in Sidney on Friday at 2:20pm. I did express post so it would fly to Cairns directly from Sidney. Anyway it seems not to have moved since Friday. I phoned the post today and they said they should have arrived by now and it should have been scanned when it arrived in Cairns so it seems the trail has gone cold in Sidney . The post has launched an investigation what that will do I dont know, but I hope to know something tomorrow or the day after as to were they are. I really hope they have not gone astray as 316 dollars going missing might be interesting to get back. Fingers and toes crossed they turn up . I have waited about a year to order these stylus and when I do hmmm .

Hey CL, it'll be ok...when my last sas came from Jico in Feb, the tracking of the EMS Air post service by Japan Post service showed the package arrived in Brisbane on a Thursday and I thought ok I should have it in Cairns maybe Tues or so..but no, Australia Post took until the FOLLOWING bloody Thursday to get it to Cairns! So I wouldn't be too worried just yet if I were you Cheers.L.

I hope you are right.. Right now whatever happens I want to hear how my 881 sounds, I just hope it does not cost me any more money to find out .
Touching wood big time Aus post normally gets things there eventually so I have not lost hope yet though I am rather worried. I checked my po box this evening and still nothing. I am still hoping it has been messed up and sent by road by mistake.

I have just checked my tracking again and there is two new entries, one saying there is an investigation and moments after another saying it is in Cairns . It seems it has been mislaid and now found. Fingers crossed it is here tomorrow .
