Yeah, my HD 190 (not the -1 or -2, the original 190) is having all these problems what seems like the same time.

I put one drop of oil on the bearing and covered up some exposed wires on the headshell

now

the auto start doesn't start (it actually needs the turntable to manual spin first and it goes to the 45 size no matter. Sometimes it'll just stop before dropping. Once again, I have to manually spin this.

I'm just not sure it's worth the money anymore I might just sell it as it.

Can you guys help me with my last ditch effort? I was thinking new belt, new headshell, and perhaps dismantle it and oil the platter and try to determine if anything is out of order.

Like I said last ditch attemp then I'm selling it headless on ebay. Please, I've invest to much time into this, I just want to get back to enjoying music.

the reason I need a new headshell is the left speaker decided to go on vacation.

Did you get a low voltage 16-19VAC power supply for the 190...... :-k

The PS photoed in your previous posts are DC...... :?:
