Yesterday was a great day. Hadn't been to my favorite vinyl place in 6 weeks...and I compensated for it!

A Collection Series called "Baby Boomer Classics" from Warner Bros.
1. Soul Sixties
2. British Sixties
3. More Electric Sixties
4. Mellow Sixties

A Rock N Roll Collection Series from Time-Life
1. 60's Keep On Rockin' (2 Discs)
2. 1962 (2 Discs)
3. 1963 (2 Discs)
4. 1964 (2 Discs)

And some regular stuff:
1. Mitch Ryder - All The Heavy Hits
2. Spandau Ballet - True
3. Cyndi Lauper - She's So Unusual
4. Alicia Bridges - Self Titled
5. Donald Fagen - The Nightfly
6. 10cc - The Original Soundtrack
7. London Phase 4 - Percussion Around The World
8. Bee Gees - Best Of (1969)
9. Elton John - Greatest Hits Vol. II
10. George Harrison - All Things Must Pass (3 Discs)

All the above in excellent/near mint condition. (Box for George Harrison is kind of beat up, however.)

Plus 2 different, 5-disc sets of Beethoven's 200th Anniversary on Deutsche Grammophone - both still sealed!! (These were 50 cents each!)

OK, that's 34 discs in terrific condition. Cost was $19.20......I'm still smiling! Best thing is, these titles are all new to me, I've never owned any of them before.

Woo hoo on your All Things Must Pass - still the finest solo Beatles member outing. Incredible record.

Thanks!
They had another copy of ATMP - and it was in better condition, but for $15.
I'm happy with my $3 purchase. Yes I know you guys would have pounced on that better copy. I just couldn't pass on the cheaper one.

Buy both - that would have been a healthy solution ;)

A $3 ATMP is a good buy, that is all. Pretty sure I said that already. Necessary part of a respectable record collection.

Adele is on Vinyl? Nice.

I got myself a Wish You Were Here, Blondie and Pet Shop Boys, Actually.

I was a bit disappointed because WYWH has a bit of static during the quiet guitar of the title song. Other than that, it sounds amazing.

I saw them play in San Diego at the Roxy in the '80s. Them and the Undertones on back-to-back weekends. Good times.

I was too young to see them live. My cousin said he saw them open for another band here in Omaha, and the crowd wanted an encore... from the opening band. Never heard that before.

Today I found a 180g reissue of Aerosmith's Rocks for £1.99.
I love charity shops.
