Looking for Garrad Synchro lab 65b cartridge and stylus

Looking for Garrad synchro lab 65b cartridge and stylus. Cant find much about them on the net. The cartridge says Tetrad SN-1 if that is any help.

You need a beefy, low compliance cart - think about Stanton 400 or similar... There is a lot to be said for a Red Ed in this situation, not the least being the price!

Advantages of the Stanton 400 are that it can track at a higher weight (a big advantage in some older automatics) and has twice the output (reduces noise if the arm wiring isn't the best). The Red Ed is nice and cheap though

I have a 55 or 65 (not sure-at my other place) and the oem cartridge was a
Pickering V-15/Stanton 500. Believe your Tetrad may have been a ceramic. I
put on a Stanton D71EE which tracks and sounds well at 2 gms. My unit has
an angled headshell with a fixed mounting plate....

The SL65B was a fully auto version of the famous SP25mk3, so any solid 2g tracker should be fine - Stanton 500V3, Pickering XV15-VE, AT95E, Ortofon OM5e or 10 (if the arm is a good one and everything is clean and free, 1.75g tracking *should* be achieveable on these). Shure M55E, M75-EJ/93E etc...

The Tetrad may be a ceramic or crystal type and if your amp won't take a magnetic style cartridge, you'll need a phono preamp for the cartridges suggested above...
