Denon DP 59 L tonearm problem

Hello..

I have an old Denon DP 59 L and i just found out, that tonearm has play (quite big i have to say) in every direction..
Is this normal for such TT....?

Is this possible to adjust it...?

I owned a 59L and there was no play in the tonearm bearings. If the tonearm is wiggling in the mount, one or both of the screws that fix the height adjustment may be loose or missing. The bearings themselves shouldn't get loose unless a previous owner messed with them.

There are three cross-head screws around the base of the arm which may need tightening. One of these also allows you to adjust the height of the arm, thus VTA. Once these three are snug, there are two flat-head bolts on the side of the arm yoke that allow you to adjust bearing play. Be very very careful as you tighten these, if necessary.

Well - both screws of height adjustments are tight.. same with three located around the base..... so it looks like tonearm bearings were abused by previouse owner...
I can't find flat bolts located on the side of of the arm - how can i access them..?
Looking into service manual did not help me - not a single word about such adjustmnts...

Does anybody performed such adjustments on his own Denon DP 59L and could share with me how to do it..?

Another thing i disovered is little rattle noise coming from TT motor (however no play on TT's platter)... so motor bearing are giving up... ? maybe some lubrication is needed..
