If this is on Chrysalis its not an original, it was originally released on Private Stock.

Frank Sinatra - Over & Over

Bob Marley & the Wailers - Confrontation

Renbourn & Jansch - Compilation of their solo and joint projects

Van Morrison - Hard Nose The Highway

Van Morrison - Common One

Grace Jones - Living My Life

Harry Nilsson - A Little Touch Of Schmilsson In The Night

Minnie Ripperton - Perfect Angel

Brass Construction II - (Most likely recycle to another charity shop)

Ella Fitzgerald - Ella In London

Focus - Moving Waves (Hocus Pocus is the only 'good' track though)

(The Frank Sinatra & Hard Nose the Highway will be passed on to a mate. She Loves Sinatra & I already have a copy of the latter)

Just ordered a cop of Beth Gibbons & Rustin man from Amazon.co.UK

Speakers Corner Records reissue:

Mercury Living Presence:
Rachmaninoff 3rd Piano Concerto
Byron Janis, piano
Antal Dorati, conductor
London Symphony Orchestra

Oh, my goodness.
Great recording: for the music and the sound.

O bought Wilco's last album. Huge variety of music, double lp.
Yuck's special edition with six bonus tracks on separate lp. Oh yea, forgot Wilco threw in a free? Cd with the vinyl purchase, nice for the car. Yuck is mostly modern grunge while is Wilco is good rock. =D>

After driving through a winter storm and poorly plowed highways to a Praxis II test 90 miles away and then driving home 3 hours later I stopped at the local used game/CD store that has a small selection of records for a present to self. Picked up Sadeo Watanabe's Fall Blow with all star cast and it was a quirky song line up, but a good live performance. The used record was so noisy. It actually had a tape like hiss. No bother, it was cheap and the music was fun.

Picked up Jimi Hendrix's "Are You Experienced" on 180gram vinyl. It's washed and ready to go, but haven't spun it up yet. I got all like "Don't just listen to it because it is new and 180gram, listen to it when you want to" and for some reason I am listening to my subconscious.

And finally I picked up a used "Best of Wayne Shorter" on Blue Note. I've heard all the songs on various CD's I own and I have to say once again that my new Ortofon OM2 red sounds better than all my CD's, even through my DAC.

It took my whole CD life (I am 46 years old) to finally say that records sound better than CD's.
