If you are still looking, check around the base of the arm. I believe there are actually 3 screws, only one of which is the VTA adjustment. Check the others. With my DP-50L ( Japan domestic model, similar to the export 60L ) I needed to adjust one of these for no play.
If it doesn't help, take the back off the turntable ( unplug first ... ) and see if you can see what is loose. It is not complex under the arm attachement. The only unusual thing apart from the arm coming through the base, is the "paddle" attached to the arm cylinder which cuts the beam from the LED used to sense end-of-side. It should have no effect on any play. Worst case, your plinth near the arm may be worn or damaged. You would need to shim this with something to take up the play if so.
