Thank your for all :D. I joint this site for the reasons > Music and Hobby, so forget about the War of Vietnam because it has gone away long long time ago :D.

Back to the DIY, after finish with Plinth grinding, we continued DIY the Platter, because we don't have the Original MS-5000 so we asked our friend who is leaving in Melburn for the measuring as you can see.

Hi VNS

All good stuff

I think there's been some cloning of Thorens References in Vietnam as well.

Cloning the Thorens Ref is not possible at that moment, we tried to layout the Plinth but its really difficult, hope that we can clone it in near future :D .

Yep, 100% Bronze made. We did as per MS Spec > weight 18,5kgs :P

We try to clone as much as possible by using all material same as The MS Origin. This is Main bearing shaft which were used for our Turntables19994

Truly gorgeous work. you might consider doing your own design using lessons you've learned from making clones.

That is quite the DIY turntable. Have you had a chance to compare the sound to the original.
Would be interesting to hear if and what the differences are.
Thanks for posting and sharing.

Dear rugyboogie, I got a chance to compare the Origin MS RX-5000 to my DIY product. In totaly there is no difference in sound except the sound base is a little bit better than the Origin.

We still compare and develop some parts of the Turntable in order to make it better and better that is our targeted :).
Together with the do it by our-self some Analog devices, we also building some very high standards Loud speaker for our hobbies, that is the way to satisfy all of us because we like to enjoy what we can do by our-self :D

Thanks for your comments
