I did. Complete shot in the dark, well not a complete shot in the dark but definitely a leap of faith. I would think at £400 I'd get my money back if it didn't work for me though.

I'd like to think it was a 'leap of faith' in the right direction. Incredibly suitable to a wide range of cartridges and in all honesty the best unipivot I have come across so far. I'd personally put in on par with a Naim ARO.

Could do with a finger lift though and I ended up buying one while over in the US.

Bit farcical setting the VTF, but it's not rocket science and once there no chance of it ever budging. Be interesting to hear your thoughts.

Great choice of arm Zebbo, definitely agree with S/F's statement, money well spent :D :D

I just recently bought a Cadenzda Black for a cracking price and am liking what I hear so I hope it'll suit the Ace as I couldn't find much info on it other than it's mounted at 210mm from the spindle, has an EM of 13.5g and 17mm overhang. The figures suggest a resonant frequency about 8htz so that should be ok I hope.

Hi Guys,
I've been a bit busy so missed this thread! I don't have any spare blanks at the moment, but I'll see if I have time to cut some this weekend. For future reference, I can only cut 102x102mm squares with any degree of professionalism at present; these suit PT1, Too, Export and Anniversary, but not the round-edged holes of the vectored turntables. Also I have limited supplies of the carbon sandwich board at the moment; I might make up some more in the new year..

cheers,

-- Tim

Oh no, could never afford a new one! This one was an ex-dem and immaculate with less than 200 hours. You could see the stylus glinting under a light, absolutely spotless. I got it for £567.

Has anyone paired a Zeta arm with a Denon DL304? Are they compatible.

Well some people have cast doubts about this pairing while others have suggested the potential rewards make it worth my while.

I am buying a Zeta Mk2 that's been checked over by Audio Origami. I know some VE members have found the Zeta works well with PT decks.

All I need now is an armboard! I wonder if AK will swap the new SME cut-out one I bought a couple of weeks back. That is unless anyone on here wants to swap. It's a CF/Balsa sandwich with rounded corners.

How lucky am I? Just bagged a FF CF/Balsa rounded edge board on EBay. Can't believe it. May get the new deck and arm working by Christmas if Royal Mail
doesn't fail me.

Oh well, that stopped me umming & ahhing about whether to buy it to modify for the Ace Space! The mounting distance is only 1mm different with the Linn mount but I didn't know what size hole I needed. Good buy.
