Bit of a mix:

Shirley Scott - Satin Doll, on Prestige, Fantasy reissue
Milt Jackson, Joe Pass, Ray Brown - The Big Three, on Pablo (sealed!)
The Best of Jim Kweskin & the Jug Band, on Vanguard
Cruisin 1964, 1965, 1966 and 1967 - great original DJ collections with the cartoon covers

Picked up a couple of pristine Japanese pressings from Greville Records yesterday:

The Doors: LA Woman
The Rolling Stones: Let it Bleed

I have both of these but looking forward to hearing better copies.

Seriously considering getting a decent mono pressing of The Doors self titled, after getting a very crackly copy I'm astounded by the difference with the mono mix, it is just so superior. Looks like EBay here I come.

DS
My System: Micro Seiki BL51 Turntable, Stax UA7 Tonearm, RCM Sensor Prelude Phono Stage, Ortofon MC15 Super II Cartridge, Rotel RCD865BX Cd Player, Melody I34R (Astro Black 40) amp and Osborn Epitome Speakers.

I was in Brussels and visited a great vinyl store "The Collector". I could have spent hours in the shop but my wife was with me.

Bit of an impulse buy but I bought Tim Buckley - Happy Sad for 20 euro. I have Live at the Troubador (on CD) and this recorded about the same time. It has the absolutely fab Gypsy Woman (12 mins)

It is 180 gm vinyl and dated 2008 (original 1969).

Treated my self to the new issue of Wish You Were Here as well as the new version of The Stone Roses, i have loads of copies of that but none play perfectly so its nice to have a pristine copy for listening :)

That new WYWH sounds amazing by the way !!

Cheers
