EMT (929 tonearm)

Postby rataploom » 24 Mar 2003 18:32

I bought recently 2 EMT 928 turntables...  :o ... and i want to know if someone have any information or document regarding this turntable (exept stefano pasini web site infos).  They have both 929 arm with EMT headshell.  No cartridge were supplied with units. Is there somebody ever use this arm?  If so, which cartridge did/do you use?  Are you fully satisfied? Thx for ure Time Rataploom

Hello rataploom Here are two links that perhaps can be of use to you. http://www.hans-fabritius.de/index_fab.php http://www.emt-profi.de/welcome.htm I haven't used or heard the models that you have but most other EMT combos I have heard were really good except perhaps from the lowest bass and highest treble. The EMTs aren't really the best tt:s for detail freaks but for everyday use they are good reliable tt:s.

I dont know how good this model is because i dont have any moving coil cartridge to put on, but its seem to be very desirable for ebay users. Guess i bought two pieces of history   ;D http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vi ... 3017265831
