Ohhhhhh

Cool find! Mitsubishi LT-20 Linear Tracking Turntable - $100

The internet seems to suggest that this was a pretty good table at some point, and the seller said that he originally bought it for like $400, which means that at some point, it was atleast somewhat valuable.

Thoughts?

It probably was a very good table at the time; however I am not a fan of linear tracking tables. That said, it appears to be one of the better linear trackers (with the Revox being the best if I HAD to have a linear tracker).

Personally, I'd keep looking. That Luxman you found earlier seems to be a good deal by others as well as me... Probably the best one so far? :?:

i'd knuckle up for the luxman. i'm working on a pd 121 right now and the it is a quality TT from the bones out. also, the mods of nicer rca cables and a thicker power cord are a nice touch!

Thanks for the advice Jim and hdubsee.

The big thing now is that I need to find/put together an amp for myself... I'd love to build one, but if I'm going to spring for a table, I would love to get an Amp to get it up and running pronto...

I probably could find one for a couple bucks on craigslist to keep me going in the mean time. I'll drop the seller an email, and hopefully he'll still have it in a couple days when I head home after finals!

Thanks all!

Get the Luxaman and ask the guy selling it if he has a cheap but working integrated amp / receiver for you.

When I picked up my Thiels from a Craig's list seller, he also had some other goodies not listed I got to paw through before I left...

I got worried, because the original link wasn't working, but the seller had re listed it for $225 here.

I found another post in the Cleveland area for a luxman pre amp/tuner [url=http://cleveland.craigslist.org/ele/2325661510.html]here[url]. The seller doesn't really list any specs, but would it be worth checking out?

Try here: http://www.audioreview.com/mfr/luxman/p ... 91crx.aspx

Here's some pics:

Seems pretty good to me- build up an all-Luxman system! There are certainly worse brands out there!
