well, i got the tt back from the shop. 170.00 to apparently rebuild the motor.that didn,t work, but apparently did identify a couple of transistors that were bad.works good now. but will always leave me asking myself if it was just the transistors to begin with?thanks to alec for your suggestions on trying to help out with this problem.on a side note, i am just learning on using protractors. i have a pickering xv 15 with a 625 stylus, a stanton 881 eee, and a piezo ym135. all three have their separate qualities, but have found the piezo to bring out sounds that are barely audible with the other 2, even thou it is the least expensive by far. is it that i will have to keep buying cartridges untill i find one that gives me the detail of the piezo and the smoothness of the pickering and stanton? or is there a less expensive method?
