czech it out

I think I did notice the tracking improving over the first 10 to 20 hours. I ran it with the tracking force at more like 2.0 grams for a while in an attempt to mellow it out. Then I backed it off to 1.75 and eventually settled on 1.9 grams. I'd suggest checking very carefully that your arm is dead level when the force dial reads zero and then set it to 1.9 from there and see what you think. At that point you should be hearing what I hear. The only record I remember giving it trouble is the last track on side 1 of The Joshua Tree. I'm sure I must have other records that would be a problem but I bought the turntable for my wife. I seldom listen to it, lately.

What is the LP you are having lots of trouble on. It may be on the vinyl itssself..... like on early Rod Stewart LPs.....

Good luck.
