Klaus Schulze................Trancefer album, normal-cut, 45rpm version (Limited Edition, No 9 of 300. I also have No 300)........ will probably follow it up with the Halfspeed-cut 33rpm version.......Love this album.... the whole album fits on both versions.

-gift from a very special lady: Paul Roland / Giant Sand - Madhouse / Wishing Well 7"

http://www.discogs.com/Paul-Roland-Gian ... se/1565132

-another gift, from my friend, picked up on TFC gig here in Belgrade on sun, nov 8th: Teenage Fanclub and Jad Fair - Like A Monkey In A Zoo / Happy Soul 7", PeMa 001, 2006.

Image

The continued hook-up between Scotland's Teenage Fanclub and American primitive artist and musician Jad Fair, 'Happy Soul / Monkey In A Zoo' sees the transatlantic hook-up taking on two new interpretations of Daniel Jonston classics.

-another souvenire from the excellent gig they're played here in Serbia: The Kill Devil Hills - Hungry & Down/Down to the River 7", independent issue 2008.

Great aussie (heavy) blues/country bend!

Kings of Leon have released a 7" single of Radioactive to coincide with their new album, the B side has the same track remixed with accompaniment by the West Angeles Mass Choir resulting in a much richer sound, very nice indeed 8)

ALSO SPINNING..

Julie Driscoll & BA Trinity - This Wheel's on Fire...1968 the whole 60's scene encapsulated in a single disc!

Mindbenders - Groovy Kind of Love ....1966 Groovy where did that word come from...a record Groove or groove/dig the music?

Monkees - Valleri 1968 ... very underrated in their day, written off as Beatles clowns / clones but looking back made some very fine records 8)

Hedgehoppers Anonymous - It's Good News Week 65...lyrics sound very relevant today!

It's good news week,
Someone's dropped a bomb somewhere,
Contaminating atmosphere
And blackening the sky,
It's good news week,
Someones found a way to give,
The rotting dead a will to live,
Go on and never die.

Have you heard the news?
What did it say?
Who's won that race?
What's the weather like today?

It's good news week,
Families shake the need for gold,
By stimulating birth control,
We're wanting less to eat.

It's good news week,
Doctors finding many ways,
Of wrapping brains in metal trays,
To keep us from the heat.

Over the past day or two:

Dinosaur Jr. - "Just Like Heaven" 10" single @45 rpm on purple vinyl.

The Black Crowes - "Three Snakes and a Charm" 45 rpm box set on seven - 7" records. Not their best album, but the set is just too cool.
