Hi!

How can I change the oil of the lift? Which one is to use?

Regards, Gerald

Are you having problems with it dropping too fast?

Just had to do one myself.

Internals were fine, just thoroughly cleaned and charged up with a small amount of Araldite resin.

Working fine :D

Oil will just run out the bottom - it is not sealed.

Undo the small screw on the bottom until the lever slides out the side (no need to completely remove the screw as it engages in a slot).
The piston may catch on the cutout on the lever if it does just press the piston in with something suitably small.
Remove the piston and spring (do not lose the screw or spring)
Thoroughly clean the piston and cylinder - I used a cotton bud soaked in Isopropyl alcohol.
When dry smear the inside of the cylinder and outside of the piston with a film of Araldite resin.
Do not fill
Reassemble

Bingo one working lift - mine did :D

Thank you! How to remove the piston? Isn't it fixed?

Working OK now?

Whatever fluid was in originally had hardened onto the surfaces and become slightly sticky - hence the uneven and sometimes rapid drop.

All that needed to be done with mine was remove the residue and recharge with something similar.
