I LOVE Supersister - haven't got that particular LP though. My favorite has to be 'To The Highest Bidder' - pure gold! :D

I cannot, alack and woe, accredit you with any prog accumen.

It is needful that action be taken at once to rectify this sorry state of affairs - that being that a prog NOOB is posting within MY thread.

Please to start up your own thread for this rubbish genre.

Prog never wanted to be anything - just free rein from the contraints of the three minute pop song.

Prog metal is the new kid on the block - loud, wailing, writhing, screaming, and downright cheeky...

Spoken true and direct.

Pray tell, sirrah, perhaps you indeed are one - as am myself - of Those Favoured who strut-walk the lofty marble, orchilac and porphyry cloister-trajectories of Higher Progdom?

If you were trying to validate his observation, well done!

Again, another troll thread Birdy? I am seriously considering to ally with my nemesis, "", for the sole purpose of preventing more similar threads of yours.

Yeah, non-constructive, provocative troll stuff for sure. At least use spell checker while you continue along this road.

Camel, Nektar, Omega, Kraan, Secret Oyster, Soft Mahine, Matching Mole, Ars Nova, Nucleus, Gentle Giant, Family, Caravan, Rare Bird, King Crimson, Yes(to state the obvious), Amon Duul, Flash, Can, Gong, Steve Hillage, Peter Gabriel era Genesis, Arthur Brown's Kingdom Come, Rush(although I consider Rush to be more Math rock than Prog but they do have the epic suites)......

All of these & some I've missed have regular rotations on my platter... 8)

I love Supersister as well....

I could never understand the allure of the band, Family.
And believe me I tried.
(Somehow they dont even seem "prog" to my ears.)

What Family title do you consider their most progressive?
"Entertainment" is a vast improvement on "Doll's house" as i see it, but even so.....

Caravan is the bigname prog group that I came to appreciate last. For years they never registered. Now I rate them highly.
