I got two turntables right now that are in working condition, but both need to be cleaned and re lubed still.

A Dual 1019 in very good overall condition, fitted with a Stanton 600 EE
and a Dual 1219 in near mint condition which I have fitted with a brand-new Sumiko Pearl.

I also have a Dual 1229, but it is missing some parts. I'm going to take it apart fully to get a feel for the 1219 re lube job, since the 1229 is based on the same chassis and actual mechanism. Only difference I could find between the 1219 and the 1229 is the built-in neon strobe and a different anti-skate dial, other than that, I can't find it.....

I seem to change my TT like women change their shoes.

I tend to have a DD always set up and used as my everyday player. At the moment I have my Technics SL150 (custom :-)) with SME 3009, but let's see how long that lasts.

9298

I've had to many to mention but usually reliable pieces like Denon, technics or Sony.

I then have my belt-drive / D.I.Y set.up. This really comes and goes. I am always fiddling / stripping / generally playing around. At the moment I am making a new plinth for my garrard clone. Blasts from the past have been, Systemdek's, connoisseur, yamaha, nad, rega, AR XA, dual ..........

Turntables are like women, you are never happy with the one you have,,,,,,,,,

hallo,

what makes you think i am so jung Genesis? LOL 8)
it is nice to joke here!

i am not so reserved with the amount of turntables i have.
it is a passion, but then if i had a Thorens Reference i might end up collecting less too.
by all means post some pics.
you can do this in the Thorens Gallery or in your Personal Gallery.
i will be looking forward your next posting.... in the Thorens section?
