LP12 Motor on Basik Turntable

Is it possible to use an LP12 motor with 4 wires on a Basik turntable where the original motor had 3 wires? If so, what do I do with the spare wire? Thanks.

Does the four wire motor have one red, one black and two greys? If so, the two greys should be joined together.
