Sony PS-3300 problems

Postby csheery » 01 Mar 2012 01:37

I have an older PS-3300, It is great but sometimes it acts up. The biggest problem is the speed can sometimes be spastic and the strobe flickers on and off irregularly. I believe this is just a short in the power cable, and will be an easy fix. My concern is that when the tone-arm reaches the end of the record it is playing and returns to the off position (idk what you call it), sometimes the turntable keeps turning. I don't think the short would cause that to happen. anybody else have similar issues or any suggestion?
