There a thread in the main forum so thought I'd start one in here for 7".

Bought a new single today Mogwai's Rano Pano on Sub Pop, comes with a download code.

This thread hasn't taken off...thought I'd add my two cents though.

Over the past few days I've picked up 3 45's (7 Inch)....

U2 - A Side: With or Without You, B Side: Luminous Times and Walk to the Water

Cream - A Side: Strange Brew, B Side: Tales of Brave Ulysses

Beach Boys - A Side: Beach Boys Medley, B Side: God Only Knows

I thought God Only Knows was the A Side...but after looking online, I guess it's the other way around....bought it for that song though.

Fleetwood Mac - Rumours 45 rpm Lp's (just re-issued). Seems to sound great. I also bought the 33 1/3 re-issue and have yet to hear it for the comparo. I am assuming the 45 will sound better ?

Since getting my new(old) garrard working perfectly, today I went to the local record store and bought:
Private eyes - hall & Oates (damn styrene!)
Dance with me - Peter Brown (replaced my styrene copy with a real vinyl one)
You got lucky - Tom Petty
Der kommissar - After the fire
Shakin - Eddie money

Gonna be stacking these 12 high soon as the adapter shows up....

What can I say, I was glued to MTV when it first arrived in '81.

Laibach - Sympathy For The Devil

Also got a load of DnB records yesterday, many badly scratched but for 50p each (and most of them were double / triple pack) I thought i'd take the chance - and it was a charity shop so it's all good anyway.
