how to hook up a sanyo tp1012

Postby redldr » 24 Jun 2012 13:03

I'm going back to vinyl and want to wire in a turntable - have a bose 3-2-1 system currently with audio from cable tv and a sony 200 disc cd player (double pole switch between tv and cd)so there are no available inputs on the back of the bose, what do I need? Presumably a receiver or similar and keep the turntable separate from the other system or what? Help please.

To go through your present set-up, this will do the job:
http://www.phonopreamps.com/tc754pp.html
It combines a phono pre-amp, which you need, with 3 switchable line-level inputs.
Still, a separate receiver (with pnono section) and better speakers is a good option.

Cheers,
Alec
Keep them spinning.

Thanks for info, I'm going to look at that site when I finish this - turns out that I now have a Technics SL-B350 courtesy of my son so for once he actually saved me money. But I guess the set up is the same regardless of make of turntable.
