I've spent about $3000 last year on headphones and headphone amps...the senns are fine. I had the 600 and 650. Had beyer, orthodynamics, electrostats, many grados etc........But the best deal out there by far is the koss ksc75. $20 and they sound as good as anything in terms of basic natural balanced music reproduction. I even prefer them over the grado ps500 which are $600 phones. Even more expensive phones than that, which may have more 'headphone experience' often don't beat or match the little koss 75 regardless of price. Plus they don't need an amp......There are alot of crap headphones out ther ime.
