Nothing much on the web and Google turns up few results. Would guess it to be a class A/B with 60W of output power, possibly 30W and they have doubled each channels output to give the second pair of numbers in the model. Many amps were named this way, NAD are a good indicator of this numbering system. I doubt very much the amp has moving coil on the phono input and the amp itself would have been made by one of the major Japanese companies in the 80's and re badged by Wye.

The above statement is reasonably edumicated guesswork and should give you some information to work with.

Must admit that surprised me a great deal, would assume that this was a reasonably high end consumer unit at the time.

If it is an easy process (normally is) might be worth popping the lid to see if there are any identifying names. Will also give you the opportunity to see if there are any bulging capacitors that need immediate attention, with an amp of this age I would do that as a matter of course.

Does it say where it was made on the back panel ?? Japan possibly....Also you can sometimes if you look on the mains cable see a date on there...I know Rotel done Darlington coupled amplifiers in the late 70's...Could it be an amp made for Wye,,like Rotel made the last Leak's..

OK it seems to lead to the Eico Cortina range made in South Korea in the late 70s...You can carry on your search from there.. :D
