Integrated

British Fidelity AKA Musical Fidelity A1 - some fiddly issues to sort on this - but sound is great.

Arcam Alpha 8 - lovely sound.

I don't have it set up properly right now, because I'm still working out the bugs from a complete overhaul. A Sansui CA-3000 pre-amp and a BA-3000 power amp. I have 4 Sansui SP-L700 speakers and a Sansui SC-5100 tape deck and a Sansui SR-717 turntable. I'm still looking for a Sansui TU-9900 tuner to complete the system. Right now I'm using a Sansui TU-717 with it. The tape deck is a silver face with a wood box and doesn't match the rest, but I'm keeping my eyes open for a SC-5110. It's the same deck with a black face. I believe with the silver knobs from the 5100 and a small strip of aluminum along the bottom in the groove it will match the rest very well. I should have the last parts for the BA this thursday. I have it hooked up in the corner, and with the speakers directly in front of it, side by side, it still sounds pretty good. I can't wait till I get everything done to listen to it properly. Until then I guess my main system is a 7 channel Onkyo surround sound.

Regards,

Ron.

Exposure XII pre-amp psu, XI pre-amp and Super VIII power amp.
I had the power amp apart at the weekend to replace the power switch, which was always 'on'.
On the bottom of the case, someone had written 'Jan 1990' , which I presume was the manufacturing date. I bought it not long after, so I've had this setup for getting on for 22 years and I have no desire to change it.
Cheers

My system is comprised of a Dynaco PAT4 SS preamp feeding a VTA ST120 Power amp which is a kit amp based on the Dynaco ST70 that I constructed about 4 years ago. The amp is referred to as a Dynaco ST70 on steroids. The kit uses KT88's driven by 12AT7's producing a nominal 60 watts rms per channel. The kit is designed by Bob Lutino. It is a wonderful amp, dead quiet with amazing sound.

My main system consists of 3 NAD receivers(7020,7060,and 7080) and one integrated amp(Realistic SA-2000). They are all hooked together with pre out jacks and tape monitor loops with the 7060 as the control amp, driving 7 sets of speakers. sounds awesome.

I voted Integrated but my system doesn't fit into any simple category. I have a pair of Devialet D-Premier devices which integrate DAC preamp and power amp into 2 boxes (although it can be used as one box just with less power)
