Unknown Micro Seiki tonearm

Hello!

I've posted two pics of a unknown tonearm probably made by Micro Seiki. It looks like an extra long version of the well known MA-77 and a friend of mine means that must be a MA-88. But he's not sure.

Please have a look in the Micro Seiki gallery. I hope there's anybody who can give some information about this arm.

Thank you!

I haven't a clue, but here are the pictures to hopefully jog someone's memory?

Hi,
I have a boxed MA77 myself. Found a picture (not mine) in the gallery,

[album]777[/album]

your arm certainly looks quite similar, more complex counter-weight arrangement, with lateral balance perhaps? It has the black fixed curser and little red dot for vta/levelling as per the 77 though. Sorry, but can't supply any more info or a model number.

I've never got round to using the MA77, sits in it's box, just waiting. :( Does anyone know anything about these. Are they any good?

It's this pic that makes me believe that it is a long version of the MA-77.

I know Audiocraft/Ultracraft tonearms very well and I don't think this is one.

Hi,
It's a Micro Seiki MA-88. I have an MA-77 and will be uploading the Japanese owners manual which covers the MA-77 and MA-88 models in the next week or so. I hope you can read Japanese because it's all Greek to me! :?
