okay now I'm 99% sure it was only the main power switch. it is done for sure.
I checked the motor before only with a pen style volt meter and assumed it was getting
current but it wasnt.

Glad you are sorted out. Switch is nice and cheap to replace. Table should be up and running soon...

sure is, plays the rolling stones just fine... I should have started first with the power source noticing the switch had 2 sides, letting power get to the cartridge but not the motor

well now im amped :lol: to fix my old dual and technics
