Systemdek up and running!

Postby KeepSpinning2 » 04 Apr 2012 00:10

Hi all,
Well I got my Systemdek all set up and it sounds great, but there's a little
noise from the motor. Did put in a little oil and its quieter, so just in case
what replacement motors are around to use with this turntable with the same
circuit board or must it be modified as I read on a few threads.

Thanks

Yes, once I figure out how to do it. In the mean time there's a slight hum
in the motor and now it's thru my speakers is it the motor or my Grado
Cartridge, I wonder if I could shield the motor?

Hi all,
Further update, oil the motor like I read on some threads here and
tonight I played the the Systemdek and the noise is pretty much gone
That's really good. I also adjusted the height screw in the back of the
motor to get the pulley more in line with belt.
