I,ve been trying to upload a photo of my SD iix but no luck yet. the photo above is the closest one I could find in the gallery. its the same board except there is another orange cap I think that is diagonal to the top left corner of the yellow square one.
it has 1 F10%
250V-mky
philips written on it

im assuming now that one of these things is the problem

okay now I'm 99% sure it was only the main power switch. it is done for sure.
I checked the motor before only with a pen style volt meter and assumed it was getting
current but it wasnt.

Glad you are sorted out. Switch is nice and cheap to replace. Table should be up and running soon...

sure is, plays the rolling stones just fine... I should have started first with the power source noticing the switch had 2 sides, letting power get to the cartridge but not the motor

well now im amped to fix my old dual and technics
