After getting the Systemdek, i look to make sure that all the basic's were find, motor, speed, suspension, etc...i was quite happy with the deal. So i started with the dust cover that had time used it. Couple of scrathes and a opaque look.

I remember using once a restauration product for headlight's. Made my list of all the product's that i needed for the restauration and went to the store. The headlight's solution is quite easy to use, you just start the coarse sandpaper, make shure to add water and brush until it gets white, than you take finest, still with a little bit of water and you brush again until it gets more clear.

Make shure to read the instruction and follow them! it's not difficult but take your time. You have to use the soft clothes between all the operation. The only thing left you have to do, is to use polish brush that goes with your drill and the polish plastic cream, keep the thing straight and steady, be constant.

There you are, you have a cover that looks like a new one. It took for me about a hour to do it and it costs around 30$. Some of the scrathes were deep but you just have to spend a little more time brushing those regions to make it dissapear.
Part 3 on the lubrification next.

Hello

What kind of drill did you use - a slow speed rechargeable? Electric mains powered drill speed is far too fast as heat generated will burn acrylic.
