Postby vinyl987 » 15 Apr 2008 08:14

I just pick up my turntable from storage. Everything looks OK. Just when I pres ARM ELEVATION switch, the arm does not go down. It moves just little bid and than stop. Anybody experienced this problem and can advice.
Thanks

I am a original owner of a PL-1000 from Okinawa (Kadena AFB 1979-1981), my unit had a similar problem, I replaced the belt (Turntableneedles.com) part # SBS3.7 $5.00, then I noticed that that belt pulled the motor out of position, so I safety wired the motor back into position.
