Hi,

What anti static record cleaner(s) would be recommended - especially when playing vinyl on a Technics SL1210M5G?

Thanks,

Steve

I have great success with static using the Spin Clean.

Permostat antistatic record preservative spray and velvet buff.
Simple to use and protects for the life of the record with one application.
Been using it from the 70's to present and it does what it says.*****
Developed by NASA to spray behind electronic panels to prevent damage to sensitive components by eliminating the build up of static charge.

I avoid topical treatments as they can leave a residue... in fact, without a residue they would not be effective.

I use a Milty Zerostat gun followed by a sweep with a carbon fibre brush. Never any static, and I live in a zone where it can vary from sub-tropic humidity to desert dryness.
