New & question about using imic

the mix tape forum

Yes, after much research and with help from the experts here, I have done this. I bought a Pioneer, and I am getting it back from the shop today with a new Shure cartridge.

It has the audio out jacks, so I will be able to hook that directly up to the preamp that I bought. Finally, I will be able to start the project this weekend. As it turns out, I won't be using imic at all.

My beautiful Pioneer is set up, working and currently ripping

there are no words for the sound difference between this turntable and the stereo I was using before, it's like night and day.

I also ordered a pair of shelf speakers that are in the midrange realm, I'm really looking forward to hooking those up and hearing the difference versus listening through the computer.

The never ending project has begun!
